SPRINGFIELD - Kathryn Dianne Koenig of Springfield died April 23 of kidney failure. She was 72. No service is planned.

She was born Feb. 11, 1937, in Washington state to Harley and Lucille Carter Squires. She married John Goddard in 1956 and they later divorced.

She graduated from South Eugene High School in 1956 and worked as a hair stylist.

Survivors include two daughters, Debra Goldbeck and Rainie Hudson, both of Springfield; a son, John Goddard of Springfield; a sister, Marion McBee of Springfield; a brother, Ray Squires of Puyallup, Wash.; and three grandchildren.
