James McBee
James C. McBee of Eugene died Sept. 9 of respiratory failure. He was 69.
McBee was born Aug. 8, 1936, in Cottage Grove, to William and Dorothy Horton McBee. He married Marion Squires in Eugene on June 29, 1957.
McBee graduated from Eugene High School. He was a cranberry farmer in Bandon and owned and operated the FINA service station in Veneta for 10 years. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and sports in general.
He was a member of the Cranberry Farmers Association.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Michael of Peoria, Ariz., and Mark of Eugene; a brother, Bill of Eugene; a sister, June Thomas of Fullerton, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
No service is planned.
Poole-Larsen Funeral Home in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.
