FARMINGTON -
- John E. Dugans, 85, died Sunday at Franklin County Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient since Nov. 8, following a long illness.

He was born Sept. 25, 1885 at Medford, the son of Edward T. and Elvira Bisho Dugans. He was educated in the school of Medford. He married Maude E. Davis, who died May 18, 1957. He worked many years for Luce Coal Co., Farmington, and for several years for Franklin Farm Products Canning Co., retiring 20 years ago. He was a resident of Farmington most of his life. He was a past master of the K of P.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Thorpe, Florida, Mrs. Clara Cookson, South Portland and Mrs. Blanche Weaver.
