Merle Thomas Webber, 87, widower of Ramona L. Webber, died Monday, October 1, 2012.

Born in Kittery, ME, he was the son of the late Adelbert Merle and Helen Kulik Webber.

He was a graduate of the University of Maine and retired as a Director of Materials Management at General Electric and Director of Purchasing at Super Duper Publications. He was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Paula Burgess (Gary) of Mauldin and Nonda Strasburger (Tom) of Union, KY; two sons, Thomas Webber and Mark Webber, of Greenville, Sharon Webber and Laura Mancini; a sister Natalie McCarty of Killery, ME; eighteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one on the way.

Recitation of the Rosary will be Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. with visitation following at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Graceland East Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation, 1990 Augusta Street, Greenville, SC 29605.
