Stella M. Stanchfield

FARMINGTON - Stella M. Stanchfield, 91, died Wednesday at Edgewood Manor, Farmington.

She was born Jan. 27, 1902 in Rangeley, the third of 13 children of Leon and Edna Lamb Haley. She attended Rangeley schools and graduated from Hebron Academy. She married Wallace Carlton Stanchfield on May 3, 1926; he died Sept. 15, 1953.

Mrs. Stanchfield is survived by a son, Richard Stanchfield of Phillips; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Case of Rangeley and Mrs. June Reum of Holland, Mich.; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

STANCHFIELD - Died in Farmington, December 8, 1993, Stella M. Stanchfield, 91. At the request of the family, there will be no visiting hours. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in the spring where a graveside service will be held. Should friends desire, memorials may be sent to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements by Thibault Funeral Home, Rangeley.
