MONAHAN -- Of Watertown, February 10, James E. Monahan. Beloved husband of Mary H. (Brady). Loving father of Mrs. Leo (Mary) Hanley and Mrs. Louis (Dorothy) Baia, both of Watertown, Mrs. Daniel (Ethel) Proia of Newton, and Mrs. Wayne (Ruth) Wales, formerly of Framingham, of Newton, and James E. Jr. of N.Y. Dear brother of Rose O'Hara of Watertown and the late John Monahan. Also survived by 25 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral from the Donald J. MacDonald and Son Funeral Home, 270 Main Street, Watertown, on Wednesday at 9 a.m. Funeral mass at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling hours Monday 7-9 p.m., Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery. Late member Holy Name Society. Contributions made to the Laryngectomee Society, c/o 243 Charles Street, Boston in James memory would be greatly appreciated.
