William Peloubet Dies in Simsbury
GROTON -- William Woodley Peloubet, 77, of 22 Belden Terrace, Simsbury, father of Mrs. Ferne Bennett of 13 Elizabeth Ct., Poquonnock Bridge, died suddenly last night at his home.
He was born June 8, 1878, in Rensselaer, N.Y., son of the Rev. Alexander and Mary Terhune Peloubet, and had resided most of his life in the Hartford area.
Mr. Peloubet, husband of the former Dora Case, was a retired employee of Ensign-Bickford Co., Simsbury.
His survivors include a son, another daughter, a brother, two sisters and two grandchildren.
A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Charles H. Vincent & Sons Funeral Home and interment will be in Center Cemetery, both in Simsbury.
William married Dora Etta Case.
