Dinner At Hotel Fets Newlyweds
Mr. and Mrs. Lester P. Gillis, W917 Twenty-eighth, were hosts at a dinner reception last evening in honor of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Paul A. Reed (Marilyn Rose Gillis) in the Silver room of the Spokane hotel. The honor guests were married August 16, and are living in Brunot Hall apartments.
In the receiving line with Mr. and Mrs. Gillis and the honor guests were Mrs. William Schulze, grandmother of the bride; Mr. and Mrs. James Dillard, uncle and aunt of the bride, and Mrs. Oscar Zautner of Watertown, Wis., the bride's great aunt.
Mrs. Arthur Swanson and Mrs. Lou Boleraski assisted at the punch bowl.

Marilyn Rose Gillis passed away in a local hospital December 17, 1971. Her home was at W917 28th Ave. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester P. Gillis, at the home, sister of William H. Gillis, Bellevue, Wash.; aunt of Lauri Gillis & Julie Gillis, both of Bellevue, Wash. A lifetime resident of Spokane.
Funeral services Tuesday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. in the Gothic Chapel of the Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, N1306 Monroe Street. Rev. Arthur E. Osmundson officiating. Interment, Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
