Edw. Drumm Dies After Brief Illness
Edward Drumm of of 197 Steinmetz Homes, died Saturday at St. Clare's Hospital following a brief illness.
Dr. Jack Cooper of the State Street Presbyterian Church, of which Mr. Drumm was a member, will officiate at a private funeral service Wednesday at the Ellis Funeral Home. Burial will be at Seward Valley Cemetery, Dorloo, NY. The funeral home will be open tomorrow at 7 p.m.
Mr. Drumm was born at Sharon Springs and had lived in this city for the past 56 years. He was employed for 46 years in the induction motor department at the General Electric, retiring in 1945. He was a member of the GE Quarter Century Club.
Survivors, besides his wife, Mrs. Elsie Devenpeck Drumm, include four daughters, Mrs. Milton Ottman of Glens Falls, Mrs. Herbert Johnson of Painesville, Ohio, Mrs. Charles Alheim and Mrs. Joseph Siska of this city; three sons, Stanley E. Drumm, Donald A. Drumm and Clark M. Drumm, all of this city; a sister, Mrs. Herbert Sommers of this city; also 21 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
