SIDNEY H. GRIFFIN
FRANKLIN - Sidney H. Griffin, 63, died at an Ellsworth hospital Dec. 21, 1982. He was born Feb. 22, 1919, at East Sullivan, the son of Charles and Nettie (Patterson) [sic?] Griffin. He was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn (Royal) Griffin; two sons, Michael and Sidney S., one daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Bright, all of Franklin; three brothers, Harvey of Bennington, Edward and Charles, both of Hancock, eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Jordan Funeral Home, Ellsworth, with the Rev. Reginal Courture officiating. Interment will be held at Bayview Cemetery, Franklin. Friends may call at the funeral home 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday.
