FRANK R. BRYER
HOWLAND - Frank R. Bryer, 61, husband of Shirley (Southard) Bryer, died Nov. 20, 1993, at a Lincoln hospital. He was born in Maxfield, April 15, 1932, the son of Elmer E. and Edna (Sawyer) Bryer.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and worked as a machinist until his retirement. He enjoyed carpentry and gardening.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three stepchildren, Billie Rae Nason and Donald Nason, both of Cape Cod and Vickie Nason of Portland; two sisters, Alice Dobson of Lincoln and Charlotte Michaud of Maxfield; three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Clay, Stevens & Clay Funeral Home, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clayton Crocker officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, LaGrange.
Frank married Shirley D. Southard, daughter of Thomas Edward Southard and Gladys M. Royal. (Shirley D. Southard was born 7 March 1938 in Lincoln, Penobscot County, Maine,11069 died 6 February 2005 in Lincoln, Penobscot County, Maine 11069 and was buried after 6 February 2005 in Howland, Penobscot County, Maine at Howland Cemetery 11069.)
