Alienation Suit Filed
COUPEVILLE, Island County -- Charles L. Powell has filed a $35,000 alienation of affection suit against Langley banker Ralph Noble, charging that Noble induced Powell's wife to leave him before their divorce last summer.
Mrs. Powell, who was acquitted last year of charges she participated in a robbery of Noble's bank at Langley, testified during the trial that she and Noble had taken cross-country ski trips together.
Betty married Ralph Sexson Noble, son of Ernest Eugene Noble and Bessie L.
