Bridie Dignan Sullivan, 83, Bradenton, died April 4, 2003.
She was born May 29, 1919, in Baligar County, Galway, Ireland, and came to Bradenton in 1974 from Chicago. She retired as a nurse for Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, Ill. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, Sarasota.
Survivors include a daughter, Maureen Massa of Lake Village, Ind.; brothers Matthew Dignan, William Dignan and John Dignan, all of Ireland; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be private for the family. A Mass and burial will be later in Chicago. Brown and Sons Funeral Home, 26th St. Chapel, is in charge.
