JERRY R. O'BRIEN
SPRINGFIELD - Jerry R. O'Brien, age 77, died August 12 at a Togus hospital.
He was born in Somerville, Mass., July 13, 1898, the son of Dennis and Nora Casey O'Brien.
He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Fenalson, Brewer, and Mrs. Beverly Lindsay, Bangor; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Springfield Congregational Church with the Rev. Guy Bourrie officiating. Burial will be in Cole Cemetery, Springfield. Friends may call at the Clay Funeral Home, Lincoln, Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
