FRANCES IRVING (nee WOOD)


Of Joliet at Saint Joseph Medical Center, Monday, November 14, 1994, age 88 years.

Survived by numerous cousins. Preceded in death by her husband, Ingram M. (Monty) Irving in 1976; her parents, Blanche and Harvey Wood and a brother, Warren L. Wood, former Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives.

Member of Joliet Universalist Unitarian Church, Louis Joliet Chapter of D.A.R., Marguerite Chapter #187, O.E.S.; J.A.T.O.E. and C.A.T.O.E. (Joliet and Chicago Area Theatre Organ Enthusiasts) and a Gold Card Member of Joliet Federation of Musicians. She was the Rialto Theatre Organist for many years beginning in 1928.

Friends may meet at the Elmhurst Cemetery Chapel on Thursday, November 17 at 10 a.m. for services. Rev. Edwin Moreano officiating. Memorials to Knight Templar Home in Paxton, IL will be appreciated. No visitation.
