CECILE OLSON
AVON - Cecile M. Olson, 99, of 1790 23rd Ave. died at 3:25 a.m. Sunday, March 4, 2001, at Avon Nursing Home.
Born Aug. 12, 1901, in Knoxville to Edward and Adella Keller Lindsey, she married Hartwick Olson on May 26, 1922, in Galesburg. He died Oct. 25, 1976.
She also was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Georgene) Erickson of Avon; one grandson; one brother, Robert Lindsey of Andover; and one sister, Kathryn Leibovitz of Galesburg.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Galesburg. Friends may call Tuesday at Corman Memorial Home in Avon.
Memorials may be made to Avon Federated Church or Avon Nursing Home.
