MONMOUTH -- Mrs. Effie E. Lindsay, 67, widow of Roscoe E. Lindsay, died Tuesday night at her home at North Monmouth.
She was born in Lyndon, Vt., March 24, 1879.
Mrs. Lindsay was the principal of North Monmouth Grammar School, where she had been a teacher for about 18 years.
She was a member of Boynton Chapter O.E.S.
Surviving are two sisters, Miss Harriet Colby and Mrs. Nellie McGovern, and a brother, all of Lyndon.
DIED -- At North Monmouth, Feb. 18, Mrs. Effie E. Lindsay, widow of Roscoe E. Lindsay. Funeral services will be held at the home Saturday at 2 p.m.

Monmouth Feb. 22 -- Funeral services for Mrs. Effie Colby Lindsay, 67, widow of Roscoe E. Lindsay, were held this afternoon in her home at North Monmouth.
A native of Lyndon, Vt., Mrs. Lindsay died here Tuesday night. She was principal of North Monmouth Grammar School and taught there about 18 years. Mrs. Lindsay was a member of the Eastern Star here. Surviving are two sisters and a brother, all of Lyndon.
