KENNETH L. LINDSAY
BANGOR and CARROLL -- Kenneth L. Lindsay, 66, died May 14, 1988, at his residence. He was born in Princeton, Jan. 24, 1922, the son of Alvin and Gertrude (Elsemore) Lindsay. He had been a resident of Carroll until moving to Bangor 25 years ago. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a groundskeeper at Bangor Municipal Golf Course for 20 years, until his retirement in 1983.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly (O'Brien) Lindsay of Bangor; two daughters, Margaret Moore, Kathleen Lindsay, both of Bangor; five sons, Kenneth L. Jr. of Hampden, Terrance A. of Bangor, Dale S. of Bangor, Douglas S. of Brewer, Ivan L. of Westwood, Mass.; six grandchildren; five sisters, Bernice Averill of Springfield, Lillian Fields of Hudson Falls, N.Y., Gladys Camposuolis of Oakdale, Long Island, N.Y., Joyce Archer of Topsfield, and Charlotte Ireland of LaMirada, Calif.; five brothers, Alvin H. of Lincoln, Louis D. of Brewer, George E. of Bangor, Max of Hillsboro, N.C. and Jerry of Springfield; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 12 noon until time of services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Crowe Funeral Home, 18 Forest Ave., Bangor. Interment will be in the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta.
