Carl W. Jennings -- Carl W. Jennings, 60, died unexpectedly here Wednesday.

He was born May 24, 1914 in Leeds, the son of Daniel and Sadie Hobbs Jennings.

He was educated in Leeds and graduated from Leavitt Institute. Mr. Jennings married Florence Morris in 1941. He was a road commissioner in Leeds for many years. He was employed at Advance Heel in Auburn.

He was a member of the Leeds Senior Citizens.

Survivors include his wife of Leeds; five sons, Rodney and Gregory both of Leeds, Randall of Auburn, Brian of Bowdoinham, and Ricky of Monmouth, one sister Mrs. Marjorie McManus of Leeds and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2pm at Main St., Monmouth.

Burial will be in the Leeds Center Cemetery.
