Mrs. Beata Carpenter Lindsey, 84, widow of Thomas Lindsey, died Tuesday.

Survivors are a son, Paul C. Lindsey; a daughter, Mrs. James L. MacMullen; a step-son, Fredric Lindsey; two step-daughters, Mrs. B.B. Carpenter, Mrs. Margaret Whorrall; a sister, Mrs. Minnie C. Bryant; five brothers, Lee B. Carpenter, Miles B. Carpenter, Allen B. Carpenter, Hugh B. Carpenter and Bryan B. Carpenter; 25 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Friday, 2 p.m. in the Purviance Funeral Chapel, Wakefield. Burial will be in the Waverly Cemetery.
