LORA E. TASKER

ST. ALBANS -- Lora E. Tasker, 85, a resident of St. Albans, died peacefully at home Sunday, Sept. 8, 2002. She was born in Bradford, the daughter of Clyde and Lula (Chase) Tasker [sic].

Mrs. Tasker graduated from Bradford High School, Class of 1934. She was a housewife and a wise and loving mother.

She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Harry "June" E. Tasker; a son, Duane Tasker.

She is survived by a son, Ronald Tasker and wife, Claudette of Hartland; a daughter Pamela Belanger of St. Albans; two sisters, Athalie (Page) Morrison and Dorothy (Jones) Winship, both of Florida; two grandchildren, Mark Tasker and wife Debra of Etna, Greg Tasker and companion, Amy Vanandestine of Hartland; one great grandchild, Caitlyn Mae Tasker of Hartland; two special nieces, Cynthia and Connie and several nephews.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002, at the Mills Cemetery, Bradford. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Mrs. Tasker's life 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at Grace Linn Memorial United Methodist Church, Hartland. Arrangements are by Donald H. Shorey Funeral Chapel, Pittsfield.
