Phyllis Mallett, 75, Of Plainville
Phyllis E. Bishop Mallett of Plainville died at her home Saturday after a long illness. She was 75.
Born in Milo, Maine, she lived in Plainville since 1953. She worked at New Departure in Bristol and retired from the former Gull Metal in Plainville. She was a matron of the Frederica Chapter of O.E.S. No. 110 and a member of the United Methodist Church of Plainville.
She leaves her husband, Norman L. Mallett; two sons, Barry Norman Mallett and Richard Bruce Mallett, both of Plainville; a sister, Katherine Mallar of Augusta, Maine; one grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville, with burial following in West Cemetery, Plainville. Calling hours at the funeral home are one hour before the service. Donations may be made to Hospice of Bristol Hospital, 7 N. Washington St., Plainville, CT 06062.
