MRS. MABELLE KNAPP
BETHEL -- Mrs. Mabelle Moulton Knapp, age 50, died at her home Friday evening after a few hours illness. She suffered a stroke at three o'clock in the afternoon.
She was born in North New Portland, July, 24, 1888, attended the schools there and was graduated from North New Portland High School. She married Ross Knapp Dec. 16, 1911, and one daughter, Ruby, was born to them. She had lived in Bethel since 1924, and was a dressmaker. She was a Past Noble Grand of Rebekah Lodge of North New Portland.
Surviving her, besides her husband, is her daughter, Ruby, employed at Portland, her father, J. Sanborn Moulton of North New Portland, one sister, Mrs. Dan Wendell of North New Portland, one brother Ellery Moulton of Worcester, Mass. and one niece and nephew.
