SCOTT JONES
STRATTON -- Scott Jones, 56, died Sunday after a long illness.
He was born here November 17, 1889, the son of Edgar and Alice Jones. He was educated in Stratton schools and married Erma Knapp, also of Stratton.
He was a member of the K. of P. and Mt. Bigelow Masonic Lodge and a veteran of World War I.
He is survived by his mother, two daughters, Mrs. Phil Billington, Greenville, S.C. and Miss Marion Jones, Stratton; a son by a former marriage, Winfield Jones; two sisters, Mrs. J.W. Knapp, Portland and Mrs. Phillip Porter, South Paris; one grandson.
