Mabel Sylvester
GREENE-- Mabel R. Sylvester, 95, died at her home Wednesday night.
She was born Dec. 30, 1881, the daughter of William and Alma Deane Carver. She was educated in Turner and graduated from Leavitt Institute in 1901. In that same year, she married Stephen Sylvester who died in 1925.
Surviving are three daughters, Alice Wilkins, Wales, Florence Anderson, Bath and Gladys Burnell, Lewiston; seven sons, Charles, Harold and Ernest of Greene, Arthur, Readfield, Walter, Lewiston, Ralph, Manchester and Clarence, Portland, Ore., 26 grandchildren; and 41 great grandchildren.
SYLVESTER -- at Greene, July 6, 1977, Mabel R. Sylvester, age 95. Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at the Greene Baptist Church. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Bragdon-Flanders Funeral Home, Monmouth. Interment in the Sylvester Cemetery, Greene.

MABEL SYLVESTER
MONMOUTH -- Services for Mabel Sylvester of Greene were held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Greene Baptist Church with Rev. William Baxter officiating. Bearers were Ronald Call, Burnelle and Edward Burnelle, Bryant, Ernest and Stephen Sylvester. Interment was at the Sylvester Cemetery, Greene.
