HENRY HODSDON
MONMOUTH -- Henry Brewster Hodsdon, 70, died at his home Wednesday after a lingering illness.
He was born April 19, 1897 in Watertown, Mass., the son of Albion and Hattie Brewster Hodsdon. He was educated in Monmouth schools and graduated from Monmouth Academy. Mr. Hodsdon was married to the former Eleanor Prout at Leeds in 1923. He was employed for many years by North Monmouth and Wilton woolen mills as a weaving overseer until his retirement. Mr. Hodsdon was a member and past master of Monmouth Lodge, AF and AM, member of Boynton Chapter, OES; and the Monmouth Grange.
Surviving are his widow; a son, David of Monmouth; and two brothers, Vernon of West Somerville, Mass. and Walter of Rochester, N.Y.
DIED -- At Monmouth, May 24, Henry B. Hodsdon, age 70. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m. from Bragdon Flanders Funeral Home where friends may call Thursday evening and Friday afternoon and evening. Monmouth Lodge No. 110 AF & AM will hold masonic services Friday at 8 p.m. Interment Monmouth Ridge Cemetery.
