MABEL L. HODSDON

NORTH MONMOUTH -- Mrs. Mabel L. Hodsdon, 84, of Wilson Pond Road, died Sunday at St. Mary's General Hospital, Lewiston, after a long illness.

She was born Sept. 2, 1894 in North Monmouth, the daughter of Harry and Agnes Turner Prescott. She was educated in Monmouth schools and was married to A. Vernon Hodsdon in 1915 at Portland. He died in 1969. She lived in West Somerville, Mass. most of her life until returning to North Monmouth. She was a member of the Court Street Baptist Church, Auburn.

Survivors include a son, Roy V. Hodsdon, Salem, N.H.; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Morrison, West Somerville, Mass., Mrs. Charlotte Beauchaine, North Monmouth; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

HODSDON -- In Lewiston, April 22, 1979, Mrs. Mabel L. Hodsdon, age 84. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Bragdon Flanders Funeral Home, Monmouth, where friends may call 7-9 p.m. Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
