A BICYCLIST KILLED
J.G. PENLEY OF AUBURN, Me. Fell from a Railroad Bridge
Lewiston, Me., June 29 -- J.G. Penley, son of Ferdinand Penley, Esq., of Auburn, 28 years old, fell from the Grand Trunk Bridge between Lewiston and Auburn this forenoon and was instantly killed. He was riding a bicycle on the foot path outside the rails and lost his balance.
He fell 30 feet, striking his head on rocks, three or four feet out of the shore. He leaves a wife and one child.
Mr. Penley was on his way to his father's beef house on Lewiston shore of the river. He had frequently been warned of the danger.
