LEEDS -- Bernard C. Jackson, 67, died unexpectedly at Central Maine Medical Center Saturday afternoon.
He was born June 30, 1912 in Leeds, the son of Thomas and Bessie Carver Jackson. Mr. Jackson was educated in Leeds schools and in 1936 he married Louise McClure of Berlin, N.H. He was employed at International Paper Co. until his retirement in 1975.
Surviving are his widow of Leeds; three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Austin and Mrs. Janice Watkins, Turner and Mrs. Elizabeth uth [sic], Loretto, Minn.; a son, Byron of Cheyenne, Wyo.; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
