Robert L. Woodworth
TOGUS -- Robert L. Woodworth, 68, died Monday at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
He was born at Augusta, Sept. 15, 1926, son of Raymond and Mary Prentiss Woodworth. He graduated from South Paris High School, Boston University, the University of Maine and the A.S.T.R.P. in Vermont.
He was a machinery engineer and had worked for many years as a machinest. He had worked for Sikorsky Aircraft and Pratt and Whitney. He was a member of Paris Lodge AF & AM. He was an avid aviation enthusiast and enjoyed flying. He was a member of the Army Air Corp. He has lived in South Paris for many years. He married the former Zoe Myers on Oct. 13, 1979.
He is survived by his wife of South Paris; one daughter, Lisa M. of North Conway, N.H.; two sons, James of West Paris and Ernest William (Bobby) of Boise, Idaho; two brothers, Raymond of Otisfield and James A. of Woodbury, N.H.; three sisters, Kathleen Hunt of Norway, Florence W. Cairns of North Waterford; and Geneva W. Holden of Durango, Colo.; also five grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Emerson.
WOODWORTH -- Died in Togus, Sept. 19, 1994, Robert L. Woodworth, age 68, of South Paris. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Deering Memorial Methodist Church, So. Paris with Masonic services preceding the memorial services. Interment will be in the Riverside Annex Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, Box 456, Brunswick, 04011. Arrangements by Raymond/Weston-Chandler Funeral Home, 119 Main St., Norway.
