JAMES W. GORDON
LINCOLN -- James W. Gordon, 66, died March 21, 1977 at his residence on Edward St. He was born Feb. 7, 1911, in Winn, son of Asher and Margaret (Springer) Gordon. He was employed by the paper mill in Lincoln for many years.
He is survived by his widow, Ruth Cummings Gordon; two sons, Blaine of Enfield and Gene of Lincoln; four sisters, Mrs. Eva Kellerhouse of Wallingford, Conn., Mrs. Elsie Handy of Bangor, Mrs. Bernice Haynes of Lincoln and Mrs. Charlotte Haskell of Lincoln Center; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Barton Funeral Home in Lincoln, the Rev. Theodore C. Wallace officiating. Burial in the Lincoln Cemetery later in the spring. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9.
