WAYNE RUSSELL
PHILLIPS -- Wayne E. Russell, 51, died Saturday at Franklin County Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient only a few hours.
Born at Phillips, Aug. 24, 1914, he was the son of John and Velma Walker Russell. He attended Phillips schools. Mr Russell was employed at the Strong Wood Turning Company. For six years, he served as fire warden at the Mount Blue Tower during the summer seasons. Feb. 15, 1958 [sic?], he married Erma Storer of Weld. He was a member of the Phillips Men's Club and the Men's Club of the Methodist Church.
Surviving besides his widow are his mother, Mrs. Velma Russell and a sister, Mrs. Marianne Fellows, both of Bucksport.
DIED -- At Farmington, April 17, Wayne E. Russell, aged 51 of Phillips. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. from the Jones Funeral Home with Rev. John Hoffman officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery.
