Attorney Fellows Dies at 61
Frank G. Fellows, 61, well known attorney in the Bangor area and past president of the Penobscot County Bar Association, died unexpectedly Dec. 19, at a Bangor hospital.
Fellows practiced law for 36 years in Bangor and Bucksport, where he resided.
He was born at Bangor, the son of Raymond and Madge Gilmore Fellows. His father was Chief Justice of the Maine Supreme Court and his Uncle was Congressman Frank Fellows.
A witty man, he was in great demand as a speaker at legal and civic functions and gave freely of his time and ability.
He attended Bangor High School, Hebron Academy and the University of Maine, where he was captain of the tennis team, a sport he loved.
Fellows is survived by his wife, Marianne; four daughters, two sisters, and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call at the residence on Bridge St. in Bucksport. There will be no visiting hour at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, Bucksport.
