Hazel P. Maguire
Hazel P. Maguire, 60, of 21 Moody St., Lewiston died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon at her summer home at Bailey Island.
Born in Lewiston, Feb. 10, 1905, she was the daughter of Henry H. and Carrie Staples Parks. She was educated in schools of Auburn and was a graduate of Edward Little High School.
Mrs. Maguire was a member of the Ruth Rebekah Lodge of Auburn and the Stevens Mills Grange. She was married to Percy Maguire in July 1927 [sic] and he died in 1955.
Survivors include one brother, Henry F. Parks of Belfast; and two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Parks Woodman of Auburn and Mrs. Evelyn Parks Lausier of Windsor, Conn.
DIED -- At Bailey Island, Oct. 5, Hazel P. Maguire, widow of Percy Maguire. Funeral services will be held at Plummer & Merrill Funeral Home, 212 Turner Street, Auburn, Friday, Oct. 8 at 2 p.m. Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening 7 to 9.
