Thomas Erold Madden

   Cause of his death was cancer.

Thomas Erold Madden, age 60, of Maryville, formerly of Biloxi, MS, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at the family home after a long & courageous battle with cancer. Tom was born February 4, 1949 in Old Town, Maine, the son of Erold and Beverly Madden. He attended schools in Old Town and Brewer Maine. He was a 23 year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was called back to active duty to serve in the first Gulf War. Tom was the Vice President of the N.A.L.C. Branch 419 Postal Union and was the shop steward of the west station Post Office in Knoxville. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Biloxi, MS and a member of the American Veterans of Foreign Wars. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Erold R. Madden Jr. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Alisa D Madden; mother, Beverly Madden of Zephyrhills FL; daughters, Stephanie and her husband Kevin Maier of Lake Jackson, Texas and Brooke Madden of Katy, Texas; grandchildren, Jazmen Quintero, Kodi Rumble, Steven Macias, Tayluir Maier, Ziriah Macias, K.C. Maier Jr. and James Maier; siblings, Timothy Madden and his wife Linda of Tampa FL, Alan Madden and his wife Connie of Zephyrhills FL, and Gail and her husband Tom Clukey of Presque Isle ME; several devoted nieces, nephews and relatives. Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 6, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. at the Biloxi National Cemetery. Full military honors will be provided by the U.S. Marine Corps.
