PANSY F. MADDEN
GREENFIELD -- Pansy F. Madden, 86, wife of the late Guy K. Madden, died Dec. 29, 1993 in Houlton. She was born in Weston Oct. 15, 1907, the daughter of David O. and Lucy (Corning) Faulkner. She graduated from Higgins Classical Institute and Presque Isle Normal School and taught in several area schools. She was treasurer and tax collector for the town of Greenfield for over 20 years. Surviving are five children, Maxine Quint of Houlton, Hollis Madden of Jacksonville, Fla., Stephen Madden of Greenfield, Carroll Madden of Greenbush, Sharon Bobalek of Topsham; three sisters, Geneva Anderson of East Holden, Phyllis Perkins of Albion, and Juanita Joseph of Corinna; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Stephen Faulkner, Alvin Faulkner and Paul Faulkner, and a sister, Lillian Brown. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the Clay, Stevens & Clay Funeral Home, Lincoln, with the Rev. Clark Osborn officiating. Spring burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Shrine Burn Center. Donations may be left at the funeral home, 3 Lee St., Lincoln 04457.
Pansy married Guy Kenneth Madden, son of Harry Freeman Madden and Caroline Mae Carey.
