Piscataquis

The Lewiston Journal says: Mr. John Lindsey, of Medford, who has been at work for some time past in the P. of H. store at Lagrange, met with a painful accident recently. He was moving a tierce of molasses and caught his hand between the ebine and the side of the store. His little finger was cut completely off. The next was injured still worse, for the flesh was scraped from the bone and the bone itself was cracked. A physician addressed the wound and did not cut off the injured finger, being in hopes to save it.
