Orabelle M. Zakowsky
Orabelle M. Zakowsky, 84, of Braintree, died Sept. 16 at the New England Medical Center Hospital in Boston after heart surgery.
Mrs. Zakowsky was a member of the Braintree Senior Citizens and the Logan Park Association.
Born and educated in Boston, she had lived in Braintree for 15 years.
Wife of the late Joseph John Zakowsky, she leaves a son, Joseph J. Zakowsky, Jr. of Braintree; a brother, Albert Lindsey of El Paso, Texas; two sisters, Doris Raftes of Braintree and Ida Bradley of Natick; three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
A graveside service officiated by the Rev. Gary O. Blume, was held Sept. 17 at Braintree Cemetery on Plain Street in South Braintree.
