Lucien Nadeau Sr.

LEWISTON -- Lucien "Roger" Nadeau, Sr., 65, of 44 North Temple St., died Friday afternoon at Central Maine Medical Center where he had been a patient for the last week.

He was born at Lewiston, March 7, 1923, the son of Odilon and Diana Lessard Nadeau. He was educated in Lewiston schools and was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Holy Family Parish and had worked at various new car dealership as a currier. He retired from L & A Tire Company on July 9, 1987.

Survivors include his wife, the former Georgia Mae Twitchell of Lewiston whom he married July 18, 1942; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Sandra) McGill of Lewiston; two sons, Lucien R. Jr. of Lewiston and Edward P. of Sabattus; two sisters, Carmen Caron and Constance Nadeau, both of Lewiston; a brother, Lionel Nadeau of Poland; and six grandchildren.
