Laurette Jackson
Laurette Y. Jackson, 74, of Fletcher Road, Auburn, died early Saturday morning at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston following a long illness.
Born in Bowdoinham on May 4, 1906, the daughter of Joseph and Marie Louise Bolsvert Mailhot, she was educated in Lewiston schools and was employed as a spinner at Bates Manufacturing Co. for 42 years.
On July 6, 1936, she married Philip R. Jackson in Rumford. He died in Lewiston, July 5, 1975.
Surviving are a son, Philip R. Jackson of Auburn; three daughters, Mrs. Weldon (Denise) Poland of North Paris, Mrs. John (Lorraine) Goulet of Newington, Conn., and Mrs. Arthur (Phyllis) Bragdon of Auburn; a brother, Ralph Mailhot of Lewiston; a sister, Rose Anctil of Lewiston; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

JACKSON -- In Lewiston, Nov. 15, 1980, Laurette Y. Jackson, age 75, widow of Philip R. Jackson. Funeral services will be held at the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son on Monday Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery, Auburn. Friends may call at the chapel Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
