Gustaf Johnson
FARMINGTON -- Gustaf S. Johnson, 82, died Saturday at the Osteopathic Hospital, Waterville, where he had been a patient five days following a short illness.
He was born July 15, 1896, at Stockholm, Sweden, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Viktor Johnson. He was educated in schools of Sweden and came to the United States in 1924. He married Erma Knapp Dec. 2, 1944 at Stratton. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson owned and operated Riverside Tourist Home, Stratton, for 16 years, moving here from Stratton on Dec. 1, 1977. Mr. Johnson was a member of the Stratton Lions Club.
Surviving besides his widow of Farmington are a daughter, Mrs. Marion Bonnell, Oakland; two brothers, Ake and Folke, and a sister, Inga Johnson, all of Grangesberg, Sweden; and six grandchildren.

JOHNSON -- In Waterville, Saturday, October 21, 1978, Gustaf S. Johnson,, age 82, of Farmington and formerly of Stratton. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Adams Funeral Home, 3 Court St., Farmington.
