MARY E. THOMPSON
LINCOLN -- Mary E. Thompson, 91, died Jan. 23, 1984, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born in Oakland, Oct. 11, 1892, the daughter of Samuel and Rosella (Richards) Moore. She was the wife of the late Arthur Ray Thompson, Sr. She lived in Prentiss for many years. Approximately 20 years ago she moved to Lincoln, for the past ten years made her home with her niece, Mary Lane.
She is survived by one stepson, Arthur Thompson, Jr. of Lincoln; two step-daughters, Alice Alexander of Camden and Anita Hale of Wolfboro, N.H.; one brother, Alton Moore of Dixmont; one sister, Mahala Legere of Lincoln; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Clay, Stevens & Clay Funeral Home, with the Rev. Theodore Wallace officiating. Spring burial will be in the Thompson Cemetery, Prentiss. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
