WILLIAM F. HARPER
William Franklin Harper, 74, of 13 Newman St., Lewiston, died yesterday at the Veteran's Administration Hospital at Togus after a long illness.
Born at Errol, N.H., Dec. 17, 1887, he was the son of Asher K. and Lucy A. Harper Harper.
He had been a resident of Lewiston the past 35 years and was employed in the maintenance department of the Central Maine General Hospital until his retirement a few years ago.
A veteran of World War I, he was a member of Lewiston Post 22, American Legion.
Surviving are his widow, the former Maude C. Morton whom he married at Livermore Sept. 2, 1947; one daughter by a previous marriage, Mrs. Frank (Marie) Vickery of Auburn; two grandchildren, John and William Vickery of Auburn; one nephew, Reginal Harper of Auburn.
DIED -- At Togus, Me., Aug. 10, 1962, William Franklin Harper, aged 74. Funeral services will be attended at the Teague & Jenkins Funeral Home, Sunday, Aug. 12, at 2:30 p.m. Interment Pine St. Cemetery, Auburn. Friends may call at Teague & Jenkins Saturday evening 7 to 9.
