Sam Loiacano, 72, Charlotte County, died Oct. 28, 1996.
He was born March 28, 1924 in Detroit and came to Charlotte County 15 years ago from Troy, Mich. He retired from the construction business as a home builder. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 2606 and Moose Lodge 2121. He was a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Nancy Lee; two daughters, Pamela J. Hubbell and Julia M. Ament, both of Troy; a son, Joseph of Highland, Mich.; and six grandchildren.
Services and entombment will be in Troy. Kays-Ponger/Royal Palm Funeral Home, Punta Gorda Chapel is in charge.
