LINCOLN -- Ralph E. Hanscom, 50, died suddenly at his residence January 25, 1977.
He was born in Lincoln June 22, 1926, the son of Pitt and Frances Duplisea Hanscom. He was a member of the Lincoln Lakeside Bowling League, served in the U.S. Navy during WW II, was a member of Avon Flanders VFW Post.
He is survived by one son, William, Lincoln; two daughters, Mrs. Peggy Cole, Lincoln, Mrs. Dale Leavitt, Medway; one brother, Donald, Hampden; eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Clay Funeral Home, Lincoln, with Rev. Edward Bristow officiating. Spring burial will be in the Lincoln Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
