BEATRICE L. JORDAN 1908 - 1999
LEWISTON -- Beatrice L. Jordan, 90, a resident of North Parish Road, Turner, died at the Russell Park Manor Nursing Home, Friday, Jan. 8, where she was a patient for two years.
She was born in Leeds on June 6, 1908, the daughter of James and Ada Jackson Pettengill. She was educated in the Leeds school system and attended Lewiston High School.
She married Forrest Bubier of Greene. He died in April 1948. She later married Carrol C. Jordan of Wales, Oct. 19, 1960. He died in 1993. During the 60's she was employed at Prince's Apple Orchard in Turner. She made her residence on the North Parish Road. For most of her life she was a homemaker, loved to cook and entertain her family and friends. She was a member of the Greene Baptist Church in Greene.
She is survived by five sons and their wives, Kenneth A. and Evelyn, Clayton F. and Glenice, Phillip E. and Betty, Gerald A. and Barbara, David F. and Janet Bubier all of Greene; one step-son and his wife, Roland C. and Martha Jordan of Turner; two step-daughters and their husbands, Vira E. and Wade McManus of Greene, Fay A. and Warren Palmer of Turner; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and five step-great grandchildren.
Beatrice married Carroll C. Jordan, son of Ernest E. Jordan and Emma Arvilla Carver, 19 October 1960 in Wales, Androscoggin County, Maine.5685 (Carroll C.
