1924 - 2007

GREENE -- Enid M. Mower, 83, a resident of Old Carriage Road, Greene, died Oct. 19, 2007, at the home of her daughter.

She was born July 27, 1924, in South Portland, the daughter of John and Emily Peterson Bryce. Enid attended school in South Portland and graduated from South Portland High. On July 15, 1944 in Portland, she married Dwinald S. (Bucky) Mower; Mr. Mower passed away May 3, 1990. She was a homemaker and mom. Enid enjoyed reading and knitting and in her later years enjoyed watching TV.

She is survived by two sons, Kevin Mower and his wife Jean, of Greene and Dean Mower of Greene; a daughter, Ellen Albert and her husband, Michael of Greene; two sisters, Dorothy Cotton of Orlando, Florida and Louise Bryce of Greene; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Bucky, a baby daughter, Judy and sisters, Charlotte Chandler and Eleanor Leary.

MOWER -- Enid M., 83, of Greene, died Friday, Oct 19, in Greene. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday Oct. 21, at Valley Cemetery, Route 202, Greene. Arrangements under the care of Bragdon-Finley Funeral Home, 707 Main St., Monmouth. Enid married Dwinald S. Mower, son of Seward Francis Mower and Laura E. Bishop, 15 July 1944 in Portland, Cumberland County, Maine ⁴²⁶.^,7551 (Dwinald S. Mower was born 12 February 1916 in Greene, Androscoggin County, Maine,²⁷² died 3 May 1990 in Greene, Androscoggin County, Maine ^7551,7552 and was buried after 3 May 1990 in Greene, Androscoggin County, Maine at Valley Cemetery ⁷⁵⁵¹.)
