GERTRUDE R. BISHOP
Gertrude R. Bishop, 91, of 41 Pleasant St., Auburn, died Sunday evening at a Bolster Heights Nursing Home in Auburn, following a brief illness.
Born at South Chesterville, Sept. 29, 1887, the daughter of George F. and Madorah T. Tuttle Whitney, she was educated in the community.
She was the widow of Lawrence W. Bishop, whom she married at Winthrop in September 1906. He died in September 1948.
Mrs. Bishop was a member of Auburn's Court Street Baptist Church and Ruth Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include two sons, Linwood C. of Coventry, R.I., and Norman L. of Auburn; and five grandchildren.
