Gladys Pray
WEST PARIS -- Mrs. Gladye [sic] L. Pray, 80, of 831 Congress St., Portland, died Thursday at the Mercy Hospital in Portland where she had been a patient since Monday.
She was born in North Hampton, N.H., Dec. 2, 1898, the daughter of Nathan and Gertrude Strout Fowler. Her husband, Crles [sic] A. Pray, died March 25, 1956. Mr. and Mrs. Pray had lived in Lewiston and West Paris before moving to Portland several years ago. Mrs. Pray had formerly worked in the housekeeping department Maine Medical Center.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Pray, South Windham and Donald Pray, West Paris; a step-daughter, Mrs. Irene Stevens, Cambridge, Mass.; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two step-great grandchildren.
