GALESBURG -- Marion C. Lindsey, 95, of 470 W. Brooks died at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 1997, at 1013 Beecher Ave.
Born Feb. 18, 1902, in Galesburg to Patrick J. and Anne Elizabeth Wynn Conlon, she married A.W. "Bill" Lindsey on Sept. 11, 1926. He died July 18, 1958. She also was preceded in death by one brother.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Dale (Dee) May of Galesburg; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille Gadbois of Galesburg and Ann Welch of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
She worked in the hot lunch program at St. Joseph Academy through 1972. Prior to that, she worked at Klines Department Store and N.P. Nelsons.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and its Altar & Rosary Society.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at her church. The Rev.
Bruce King will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 tonight at Watson Funeral Home, with recitation of the rosary at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church or St.
Patrick's Altar & Rosary Society.
